Michael D. Smith
Called to the Bar in Ontario in 2012, Michael Smith holds a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School (2011), an MBA from the Schulich School of Business (2011, with distinction), and an Hon. B. Comm from McMaster University (2007, with honours). Following his studies Michael articled at Stikeman Elliott LLP, one of Canada’s top corporate law firms.
In his practice, Michael’s friendly and approachable demeanor is a welcome fit for clients navigating challenging real estate and estates matters.
Beyond his practice Michael has a young family and is an avid cyclist, having ridden over 8,000km across Canada in 2012. Michael is involved in several charitable endeavors, including co-organizing an annual one-day, 165km bicycle ride to fund Alzheimer research, support and care services.
